Yesterday after a Funchess reception, Allen started jawing a little with Devin, trying to get him to draw a flag, baiting him into it.

 

Funchess simply turned his back to him and signaled the first down. That was the only statement that needed to be made.

He has truly become a great talent for us. He will only IMPROVE too. Let that sink in for a minute.

Also, I found it so ironic last week when FOX showed Delhomme and Richardson, then literally the very next play or two Funchess caught a TD. #17 has been legendary...except for Nanee of course.

Funchess is a big dude. I think most people forget he's like 6'4".

That made me smile. Devin is just having fun out there, and not overthinking it.

You see that he has a confidence about him now, and Cam believes in him.

The first down signal. That tactic works for us fans as well, when encountered by a fan from another team talking down on the panthers. 

Just do that first down signal, and you don't even have to say anything...it pisses people off quickly. Had someone yell at me that the panthers suck and haven't played anyone of note. I just laughed and did the first down point; the exact way Cam does it when he gets a first down. That guy about had a heartattack

But the thing is Devin is really a basketball player.. he has only been playing WR for a few years at Michigan. Give him another offseason and he, Ginn and KB are gonna be a force next year.. add in some Olsen or Philly going 4 Wide.. give me a break

FUNCHESS IS  A BEAST . HE WILL BLOW UP NEXT YEAR WHEN KB IS BACK THAT WILL BE A GREAT COMBINATION FOR THE NEXT DECADE
