Expect CAP to be activated

Hearing we likely won't see Stew this week with a strained foot. 

 

Honestly, if you are going to activate CAP and/or Wegher... why not against the worst defense in the league and see what they can do. 

 

Pretty excited to see these kids play.

I would think we would activate them both....you got them both on the active roster may as well let them play.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'm EXCITED as hell to see CAP in action with decent reps especially running behind this O-line.

Sucks that Stew will be out, but this gives much needed reps to inexperienced guys, which could be huge when playoffs come.

Giants are missing some defenders - on top of having one of the worst defenses. I'm also confident in our hog mollies to make Lindsey Lohan sized holes for Fozzie and CAP to run through. We'll be just fine.

We have dinged up players in various places. There isnt the space to do this.

I'd like to see both get some carries. The Giants are actually only worst in pass D, and sitting at 16th in run D, but hey, it's time to get the rust off Fozzy and break in the rookies.

Why do teams not have their full roster activated on game day? in other words, why the need to have a couple of players without a jersey on gameday?

Never mind, I looked it up. Only 46 are activated on game days to pretty much level out the field for teams with lots of injuries.

Wegher showed in preseason he is an excellent special teams player. He could replace Mayo on the active roster.

that is what I was thinking. CAP in for J-Stew, and Wegher in for Mayo. It would fit nicely, and give them both a chance to do some damage against the worst defense in the league.

He looked solid in camp and preseason at times, lacked consistency. Looks like maybe that has improved as the year went on. Better than any current free agent options.
