Mike & Mike: OBJ and Officials Should Be Suspended, OBJ a 'Complete Jerk'

Look, i know these threads are getting out of hand, but i want the momentum to carry this asshole straight into a suspension.

Mike and Mike opened their show with OBJ's antics...  Both Mikes say he should be suspended.  Greenberg went on to say the double personal foul called on Norman for defending himself following the headshot was an "abject joke," and "horrific."

Greenberg asked how many punches did OBJ throw yesterday and also said he spent the entire day acting like a "complete jerk."  Both said they lost respect for him.  Golic also added he acted like an immature brat and said Norman exposed OBJ and got into his head.  Greenberg concluded that if he league is serious about player safety, they absolutely have to suspend OBJ for this.

Also, forgot that he had prior offenses for punching a player earlier this season and kicking a guy last season.  I dont know about you all, but he certainly has won bitchmade pussy of the year award, regardless.

We should flood the media with our disdain and try to get ODB suspended....

People were already tweeting videos to the NFL account. The marketing mind of me thinks Odell should go groom Delta and only get fined because everyone will want to see him after he fell apart

I was hoping for the same thing, I wanted to see the entire D put him on blast and send a clear message.

I seriously can't understand how OBJ finished the game without taking even one big hit.

If I'm McD, I'd would have put TD at free safety over OBJ a couple of plays. Put the CB on outside leverage forcing an easy slant/seam to the middle of the field... just to kind of you know, try something new and see what happens. That'll cool his a$$ off.

More from MMQB:

The league, if it decides to suspend Beckham, will likely do so by the end of the day today so Beckham will have the right to appeal to one of two NFL/NFL Players Association arbitrators. That case would be heard Tuesday, with a decision handed down no later than Wednesday morning so the player would be fully involved in the week’s practice regimen for the next game, which is Sunday night at Minnesota. I can’t tell you what’s likely to happen. I don’t know. But how much really will a fine accomplish?

    • I honestly feel bad for Willis. I mean, good that he got a decent (NFL QB speaking) payday and will be set for life, but in terms of actually competing and providing he's a legit starter? The Dolphins are gonna carry $175M in dead cap this year and they have an out in Willis' contract after the 2027 season. This seems like the most obvious tank job in history with Willis signed as cover for it.
    • I was scrolling X (Twitter) and I came across this clip....If I shows up here I'd be shocked.  Anyway it was supposed to highlight the blocking ability of Antonio Williams.  All I noticed is how well Blake Miller moved on pulls and in space.  I'm thinking it should be Miller Time in Carolina. I think with half a season of coaching that either Miller or Iheanachor could end up at LT, specifically Iheanachor with his footwork and those super long arms.  He's raw, but that could be a good thing with those natural athletic gifts.   https://x.com/NFL_DF/status/2033992963659796861?s=20
    • I am using Kelce more as an example of what people think you get with a 1st round TE.    3 f the top 4 yardage guys of all time are 1st rounders. I think. But realize these would be the guys with super long careers, and/or top QBs throwing to them. We don’t have a top QB.    And there have been Plenty of first round disappointments too. More of them than the all time leaders for sure.    We were treating Bryce as the ultimate ‘don’t fug it up’ game manager in order to get a few of those 8 wins. And to stay close in some losses.   1st round picks, starting in 2023 that have been used on a WR or on the QB? 2023 1 (qb) 2024 2 (1 & 32) (qb, wr) 2025 1 (wr) When does it stop?
