I bet Allen still plays. This is his last year probably and wants to finish it. He's a tough crazy SOB.

I have no doubt he would try but that may not be good for the team if he is less effective.  I think ealy and addison are really the answers maybe with delaire or horton in rotation.

Could really be a blessing in disguise.  Against the Hawks you want contain and that actually fits CJ and Allen in retrospect.  We need pressure on Carson.  So we are forced to go back with youth that rushed well early.  I think it was Ealy that help cause the 2nd INT too

I think it was Addison.

Smarts and experience trump youth and agility this time of year. Allen is a throwback player not unlike Jack Youngblood who played thru the 1979 playoffs and SB with a fractured fibula.  Allen's break is a small bone down by the pinky toe.  He'll play.

This. There was one play that Allen showed that vet savy experience Sunday.  It was a screen play and Allen sniffed  out and backed off the rush. Wilson couldn't throw it and it led to a sack.  If that had been Delaire, it would have been a huge gain on that play for seattle

I hope for Jared's sake that even if he can't play this week that we won't IR him, but that he'd stay on the 53.  That way, he'll have another week of rest before the Superbowl.  It would be awesome if he could play at least some snaps in the Superbowl before the end of his career.

I would think that with CJ, Ealy & Addison and Delaire, plus our DTs, we'd probably be ok without calling up Horton.

Or, if we do call up Horton, maybe we can send Norwood, Marlowe or Wegher to the PS.  (Not sure how waivers work at this point now that we're down to 4 teams still playing..., whether guys we waive from the 53 now could be snatched up...  I doubt that AZ, DEN or NE are about to snatch a guy we're waiving to send to our PS, but don't know if other teams could.)

I agree. Hopefully Rivera makes the right call.

I've had that injury. He can play with it.
