Trying to stop our offense is like trying to plug a leaky dam, sure you might think you've stopped one thing, but that just opens up something else, and eventually they just get overwhelmed

Maybe early in the season this was the case. The dam has completely ruptured and is about to flood all over the Broncos.

The Broncos truly stumbled to where they are. The AFC was super weak this year.

And also NE needs to be at home, heard a stat last night, don't know if true, probably is but here it is ,NE is 0-9 on the road in the playoffs. Could be the last 9 away playoff games tho.

I think their defense is great. They didn't face as many top 10 offenses as our defense did.

The Panthers have played offenses in the top 10, 10 times (including playoffs, 8 times not including playoffs)

The Broncos have played offenses in the top 10, 6 times (including playoffs, 4 times not including playoffs)

I think that is truly the thing. It's such a multifaceted offense that if one starts working and you try to stop it, you open up an opportunity for the other facet to shine. Stop Cam's running opens up Stewart or the pass. Stop Stewart, then u could lose contain on Cam or free up Olsen/WRs. Very tough to defend. You have to make the right choice EVERY TIME.

This is what I basically said to a Bronco's fan last night.  They just think it's hilarious that I find our offense so good.  They think putting Cam under pressure is going to beat us on every snap.  Cam was crazy good under pressure this season and our Oline has turned out to be one of the best in the NFL this season.  Bronco's fan's are clueless about how hard our offense has become to stop the second part of this year.

I think this is a fun stat and cool to look at, but let's not get too caught up in this. I mean....we can't get pissed at them for making a strength of schedule thread and then come back and make one ourselves.

I understand what your saying; I kinda did it as a " two can play that game".  I do think the Broncos run D is good and maybe they can have success slowing the Panthers rushing attack a bit. However, I feel that our running game will be the best they have faced and maybe Denver's run D  stats are a little skewed due to the weaker rushing teams they've played. We will find out soon enough.

While I agree with you on strength of schedule, they beat the teams that they were scheduled to play and deserve to be in the SB just like the Panthers, the point of this post is that the teams that ran the ball well against other teams also ran the ball well against Denver. WE RUN THE BALL WELL, so....

Oh no I wasn't trying to knock your thread. I enjoyed it. I think you're right - they haven't faced a running O like we're going to throw at them and I do think we will have success. They're good and fast but we have too many options and I think we can wear them down.

I think you missed the point I was making. It's the Denver fans saying we had a weak SOS.

The Broncos advantage is that they have 2 weeks to prepare a defensive game plan.

Assuming Wade Philips and Kubiak understand the different style that we bring, then they may actually try something unique.  Here's hoping they scheme to double Olsen and keep Cam in the pocket.
