Cam wasn't the only one that was asked for a kiss

At least a couple of Panthers had "reporters" get a little too close for comfort. An aggressive female reporter asked safety Colin Jones what his Valentine's Day plans were, while a bald man asked guard Andrew Norwell to kiss him on the head.

"I had to decline that one," Norwell said.

Seven ridiculous moments from Super Bowl Opening Night

No official word on whether that guy still has a head...

Center Ryan Kalil certainly got his share of crazy questions, but he was the one drawing the laughs with his answer to one of the "serious" questions posed to him.

"What former player helped you in your career the most?" Kalil was asked by none other than Jordan Gross, the Panthers' longtime left tackle and Kalil's bestie.

Without hesitation, Kalil provided his answer: "Jake Delhomme."

Gross simply walked away.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
