I hate the recognition

Been waiting since 03 for this and thought I would love the attention, and all of our players deserve it... But don't sit here and talk about Thomas Davis like its his first year in the league. Don't try and sell the world on Stewart when besides injuries he's always been a bruising back. Don't try and tell me the play of our oline was a complete shocker (It was the main cog in us making the playoffs last year). Don't tell me Cam is immature with his 'antics' when in fact he's grown as a leader in all aspects. Don't now try and backtrack (8-8 or 6-10 predictions all preseason when KB went down) and say our WR's are all playmakers now. Philly Brown was solid last year, Ted Ginn was solid for us two years ago, and Cotch has been solid since he got here. Am I being a negative human being or do I just really dislike Heath Evans?

You're talking to the bandwagoneers and not the true fans, right?

We all had our trepidations when the season started especially when KB went down. But we've followed this team closely and we all know what they are about. We know the strengths and weaknesses. So I'll give a pass to the media for finally jumping on board.  They are finally realizing what we've known for a long time.

We're in the Super Bowl for the first time in a bit over a decade. We've had some pretty rough years in between appearances. We play in a small market. We're in the NFC South, which is made up of small market teams. With the exception of Cam Newton, we've pretty much made our reputation on no names and retreads.

We haven't been title winners like the Patriots, Packers or Steelers. We don't have overpaid stars all over the roster like Dallas. We also haven't been dumpster fire organizations like Cleveland or Detroit.

So yeah, no one really knows much about us. Big deal. We haven't been attracting that much media attention until recently, for better or for worse. But honestly, why does the media attention matter? Real football fans already have a team allegiance. Media hype just brings on board bandwagoneers and those newly acquainted with the sport. We aren't exactly going to get lifelong Packers fans to give up the green and gold, yanno?

Let's just revel in the moment and not really care about getting the respect of other folks. This is our team's time.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
