Cam backing away from the ball...

I have supported Cam since he was drafted ,but that was a WTF moment. Guess that 100 million contract come into play or the coaches telling him not to take chances, or was i wrong for supporting him? He may never get a chance at another Superbowl (injury, not making it, etc) and didn't think it was worth it to fight for the ball?

 

I also noticed, he was not the same Cam from the very start of the game...what was up? this will come up for years, now.

I was very disappointed with him and the entire offense. He looked lost and scared and for the life of me I can't figure out why he backed away from the fumble. I love Cam, but that really concerns me.

67 had it but it was knocked out. if he dived in he be going in head first. I assumed that.

Gotta admit,  im really disapointed for cam not trying to get that ball.

there's a gif in another thread of it.  he obviously didn't just run away and try to avoid getting hit or something, he was trying to reposition to make a play on it.  he couldn't bend over and get to it faster than the guy that was already on the ground, so the hop back was his way of trying to flop on it.

also think of it like when cats get freaked out they do a strange walk? this is what cam did. at that moment he was going for it but when he saw the ball knocked off he was literally "WHAT THE fug?"

Yeah, if he would have dove for that ball, his neck probably would have been snapped like a twig by one of the Denver guys also diving in.  Yet man, when you play this thing in slow motion, it looks bad.

Whatever!  You were up his a$$ all year.  We lost to an excellent  defence in a game in which our defence didn't come to play and you're dogging Cam.  Piss on you sunny day support.

It was a momentum killer but Gano missing that field goal was what really buried this team.

As the leader of the team you can lose teamates with lack of effort out there. The defense busted there ass and dove on a couple of lose balls but you can't dive after your own lost fumble. If i'm a teamate i'm like WTF.

you better check my prior posts (since he was drafted) for support of Cam..before you spout off and show your ignorance...
