Cam CARRIED the worst receiving core in the NFL and a mediocre to a SB, and just got sacked and hit every other play while his receivers dropped 6 or 7 passes

Cam Newton should not be our only dynamic player on offense. Literally, the only thing defenses fear is Newton.

That cannot continue to be so into the future. We must start building a team that reflects the awesome ability of our QB.

Well technically we do have that playmaker. He just got hurt. So we should still be very proud of our team. KB and Funchess +Ginn and Brown will probably be enough for Cam to do whatever he wants next season. But another weapon would certainly help.

He dove for the ball..if you want to nitpick one play because you sitting here falling for Simms commentary then go ahead..I won't..One play doesn't define Cam Newton but some of yall want to make it so..

Said it before and I'll say it again. Cam sailed on a couple passes but otherwise was very solid. Completion percentage suffered horribly for having to throw OB as a DL or LB is draped on him, oh and the countless drops as well. He was our offense, as is often the case.

I don't blame Cam for this loss.  The o-line was porous, the WR group made exactly one good play all night while dropping several easily catchable balls, and Tolbert was a train wreck.  Whats Cam supposed to do when the whole offense is crapping the bed all around him?  He did what he could but this loss isn't on him, IMO.

This game reminded me of our offense a couple of years ago when Cam was trying to play at an elite level but was surrounded by so many fug ups that he looked pretty pedestrian.

Cam did not lose this game.  He did not do enough to win it but he did not lose it.

To me, Remmers and Cotchery lost it.
