Calm Down... You know that feeling youre getting right now... the same feeling that peyton and whats his name their general manager got when they showed up to the superbowl half assed and got raped by the seahawks...

THey trusted themselves to solve their predicaments and went out there and LOADED up...

We have the "Draft Jesus himself"

If you think you hurt right now... Hes Devastated... but Dave like us have been some RESILIENT s.o.bs and trust me the product we get from Getts and his team will mow down the NFL.

Dear Broncos... we used to have this animal called Seahawks, Arizona - We crushed them.

Gettleman is F#$cking crazy... remember DENVER is OVERPAYING for its defensive tackles.

Lets play 2 years in... who do you think will still be intact ... EXACTLY...

Did you watch KONy EALY just BALL OUT....

Please ill take 2 DEFENSIVE TACKLES/ Ends to go with that.

God bless our hearts...

I forget what commenter last night was talking about how people should stop doubting Getts in the draft.  I think by this analyst's estimates Gettleman only busted on 1 out of 16 picks the past 3 seasons.  (Edmund Kugbila).

I don't have time tonight to compare this with other team's recent 3 year track record.  But dang, this is pretty impressive.

2013

Star:  important starter

KK:  Pro Bowl / All pro (2nd team) starter

Edmund Kugbila - no longer in NFL  (was that due to injuries?  lack of skill?  I wasn't paying attention closely....)

AJ Klein:  important role player on team.  Started and played well when Luke was injured.

KenJon Barner - traded to Eagles, played in 10 games this season

2014

Kelvin - 1000 yard rookie season.

Kony - would have been our Super Bowl MVP if we'd won last night

Trai Turner - Pro Bowl

Tre Boston - important role player.   Could start next season?

Bene - very solid season at nickel until he broke his leg

Tyler Gaffney - we lost him trying to put him on IR.  Patriots stole him.  He hasn't played yet. Was on Patriots IR this season

2015

Shaq - important contributer this season  (50 tackles / 1 sack / 2 PBUs)

Devin - 31 rec / 431 yards / 5 TDs

Daryl Williams - could start next year.  Early season injury limited his 2015 role.

David Mayo - solid ST contributor

CAP - limited play due to RB depth.  183 rushing yards / 1 TD  ...looked solid could have much bigger role next season depending on Stew / Tolbert contract status

So to summarize:

1/16 no longer playing (6%)

2/16 with other teams (12%)

1/16 on IR after record-breaking rookie season (6%)

10 / 16 played key roles in Panthers NFC championship season  (63%)

2/16 played more limited roles in NFC Champ season (12%)

2/16 (12%) already have made pro bowl

And of course, none of this includes rookie UDFAs who started for us like Norwell or Philly Brown...

Given how small our recent draft classes have been, can you imagine if Gettleman had busted 1 or 2 picks in each draft?!?!  Yikes!

Defensive end ..#1 need

Oline....#2 need

CB...#3 need

WR....#4 need

Gettleman will fiqure out how to get this done.  Hopefully a DE that can do the job. If we can get that dline up to snuff....watch out. A vet tackle to anchor the right side whIle Williams gets experience. CB and WR can be draft targets. McClain might just work out in the long run, he didn't play that bad actually.

    • Watching Williams last night, guy has an arm and nfl ability  i see no future with Young.  either a player has nfl ability or they dont  cant survive on 20 or less points a game
    • Fowler: Bucs 23, Panthers 16. Baker Mayfield only won a single game when he was an unimpressive Carolina starter, but somehow he’s 5-0 when playing AGAINST the Panthers. For the Panthers to pull off this upset, they’ll need to score at least in the mid-20s. With Tampa Bay relatively healthy following a mini-bye (and Mike Evans’ return is huge), it feels like this will be too tough a task. Kaye: Bucs 24, Panthers 20. The win-loss-win-loss streak comes to an end. It’s hard to trust the play-calling following the loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers know what’s on the line, but they also knew last week, too. It’ll be close; I just have trouble trusting a positive outcome after a defeating one on the road. Zietlow: Panthers 38, Bucs 35. This prediction goes against conventional wisdom, but then again, conventional wisdom doesn’t seem to apply to these Panthers. This group, after all, has yet to lose back-to-back contests since Weeks 1 and 2. I think they win this one to make Week 18 interesting — and yes, that’s even with motivated Baker Mayfield and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in good form. Why not?
    • Sam developed into a different player after he mostly sat for a year and learned a ton by being in that QB room under Shannahan in San Francisco.  Then he went to the Vikings who have a poo load of talent and another genius level offensive mind at HC in Kevin O Connel. I think they genuinely built up his confidence in a way he never did in New York or Charlotte.  He would not have been the same player if he stayed here IMO. Especially if he had been involved in that disaster season with Frank Reich in 2023, that might have cooked his confidence for good.  I guess you could argue we wouldn't have been that bad if we also kept cmc and dj i guess.
