They beat us 45 - 28 last year in Atlanta. Atlanta looks to have improved over the offseason. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the Panthers -- yet.

I really dislike Peter King and think he's one of the worst sports writers out there, but that prediction isn't that unrealistic.

Not surprised at all. Right now it is in vogue to trash the Panthers. Until we play better and prove that we are a team to reckon with, I wouldn't expect anyone to pick us until we do something to justify it.

To a degree, yes. We were within three points during the fourth quarter, with the score 21-24. After that point, however, they scored three touchdowns to our one. Just like our past two games, the game spiraled out of control quickly. The only difference was that in the Atlanta game we were competitive into the final quarter.

My point still stands: Atlanta has obviously improved this season. We may as well, but we just haven't seen it.
