I always liked Boldin....well I did until he decided to just destroy our defense in the playoffs. But if I can end up liking Harper ( it was hard as hell) Boldin wouldn't be a bad vet to take a look at.

Guys like Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks we're mainly living off of past glory when people were pushing for them to be Panthers.  Boldin can rightly be said to have had some production in a recent season.

And yes, I do think the Panthers kind of like having someone in that "teacher on the field" role.

I think if the Panthers offered him a one year deal, it would be hard for him to turn down a shot at another ring. I only see him wanting to play for a contender though, and we are exactly that.
