Smart move by the Bears.  There was no way we were making a huge WR signing like Jeffrey with KB coming back and the staff happy with Funch's development.  I'm sure we'll bring in a WR or multiple WRs, but they won't have huge contracts attached to them.

Any ideas on WRs we may bring in that may stick? I know that's asking a lot, but I never saw us signing people like Underwood or Boykin thinking they would make an impact.

WR may be a position that doesn't change much. Between KB, Funchess, Brown and Ginn the position is looking full, plus the team seemed to be high on Norwood in practice and off the field.

 

I could see a WR taken in a later round of the draft if the value is there.

Yeah, the recent quotes about Norwood were odd to me, but they make sense. I can see us trying to groom him for something later.
