Was listening to WFNZ 610 here in Charlotte the other day and they had J-No on hand for an interview and he didn't rule out possibly holding-out...cited getting injured etc and that he's entertaining all of his options.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's looking for more guaranteed money in-case of worst case scenario and such. He'll get that with a franchise tag but if he has a bad season, his window on a 3-4 year max contract, that would be the end of those dreams.

All that said, I'm thinking he gets 25 mil guaranteed with a base salary of 7-million per season over 4-years with his first year netting the franchise tag. That's a total of 38-million guaranteed with a bonus productivity-based salary. That's around 11-million per season.

is he worth it...? I say yes.

You need to reconsider your numbers. Josh wants to be among the highest paid CBs in the NFL. That's around 14-15 million per year. Gettleman would fly home tomorrow and skip the combine if Josh was willing to sign for 11 per year.

It's the guaranteed money that's so appetizing to players, 'cause in this day and age, players rarely get that big-salary money that's backloaded into their contracts.
