Potential off radar pick

No one had a single negative thing to say about him at Ole Miss until the spice incident. Just look at his tape versus Alabama this year....he dominated against one of the best teams around. I hope the other teams are too scared to pick him up. All he needs is a good support structure (which we have) and he will be fine. But this "effort problem" stuff is nonsense.

Number one pick talent should go to elite schools. They know how to keep their incredible talent engaged.

He went to Ole Miss because his mother wanted him to play alongside his older brother. We might not be an "elite" school... But we have elite sorority girls! Why go to Bama where you might be redshirted or second string when you can come to Ole Miss and be treated like a God for your college career.

Plus we will have 3 very good first round players (Tunsil should go first and Treadwell is the best WR in the draft) and just had a top 5 recruiting class. Give us a few years and we will revisit this whole "elite" thing

He admitted today he had effort problems in college, and over his entire career there have been leaked pictures of him smoking out of a bong, pipe, etc. He's a hell of a talent but it's not worth it, this support structure hasn't helped Horton, Hardy, or Alexander it's tough to be confident it'll keep Nkemdiche on the straight and narrow.

    • yeah, Panther PR has done the Tepper is taking a backseat PR tour before.   It wasn't true at all the first time we saw them attempt that.   All the stuff you are referencing is stuff produced and put out by the Panthers.  I'm not acting like owners aren't in the war room.   I'm just saying Tepper is a proven commodity.  He is what he is.  And his tenure with BOTH his professional sports teams tell the exact same story about him.   He is not patient.  He didn't show patience last year.  He moved on from an absurd investment 2 games into the season.....and a frankly unimaginable turnaround by Bryce that was only allowed by injury reset some things.  I'm sure a billion times Raiders or Dallas or whatever fans convinced themselves their owners turned a new leaf too.  I'm not buying that.  There just isn't anything supporting Tepper isn't Tepper IMO.
    • Well last year the first team offense struggled against the Bills 3rd string defense. First string offense needed to convert a 4th down to score a TD.  If the starters play against backups and do what they are supposed to do, score easily, I’d say the reps are worth it. Would make me feel better. Unlike last preseason.
    • This right here. You also don’t want your 2 nd string oline going against their starting Dline and risk injury to whoever is taking snaps
