Chargers re-signed RT Joe Barksdale to a four-year contract.

Barksdale, 28, was the only Chargers' offensive lineman able to stay healthy last season, making all 16 starts while the rest of the line crumbled next to him. Barksdale had an up and down year, but received positive marks from PFF for his pass blocking on the right side. The Chargers will hope LT King Dunlap, LG Orlando Franklin, and RG D.J. Fluker can stay healthy in 2016.

Seahawks re-signed DT Ahtyba Rubin to a three-year contract.

Signed to a one-year deal last March, Rubin played 557 snaps for the Seahawks, but didn't make much of a noticeable impact aside from clogging running lanes. The soon-to-be 30-year-old will fill an early-down role again in 2016.

By comparison..........

Olsen averages 70 rec and 862 yards a year with the Panthers........makes $7.5M/yr.

Allen averages 22 rec and  261 yards a year with the Colts and makes $7.2M/yr.

Why is the Colts' GM so horrible?      I feel as if most other teams would've fired his ass by now.

Appreciate all the work. Can't accurately gauge the Panther's chances next season if I don't know what their opponents are doing

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
