REPORT: Panthers interested in moving UP in 1st round

I doubt we move up in the 1st, it's just too costly.  However, if the right guy slides, who knows?  If a guy Gettleman has in the top 15 is still on the board and we're a few picks away, it'd be worth making some calls to inquire.  But, if we do trade up, I think that's the type of trade we'd make - just moving up a few spots to secure a coveted guy, not making a big leap up the board.

I think this is more likely in the second. Best Dline available in the first (Butler/Ogbah). Then trade up in the 2nd for one of the Henry's.

I would be surprised with a trade up in the first.  But two nights ago on one of the draft shows on Panther TV, one of their guys, all but tried to hint we might trade up in first.  I think he even quoted Gettleman, about saying something about not needing all these draft picks on a deep team.
