Players cut after the draft (might we have interest?)

Dolphins cut DE Damontre Moore. From PFT...

Moore has 9.5 sacks in 45 career games since entering the league as a 2013 third-round pick of the Giants. The pass rushing ability may earn him another look, but the total package that Moore has brought to the table doesn’t do much to create optimism that it will all come together for a long and productive NFL career.

Kinda doubt that we bring him in but may be someone to keep an eye on.

He's a class A dumbass. Commits stupid penalties and was cut from the Giants for fighting people in the locker room on multiple occasions. Talented, but a complete dumbass.

Yep. That's why I doubt we bring him in. Especially after DG's presser saying he doesn't want dummies. But then again I don't know the whole story and I know DG loves him some DE's. You never know.

Bring back Amini

Fug that. Say what you want about how well he filled in at times last season but Amini is a mini turnstile. Until Norwell and Turner burst onto the scene he was almost as bad as Byron Bell. Wherever he is let him stay there.

    • At the moment? Absolutely not. Maybe if they drop the next three in a row and go into the deadline at 3-6 I can see an argument to be made to move Rico as he's on a 1yr deal. I'd rather keep Chuba's contract though and roll with ETN + JB next season. The team will have plenty of time to see how JB is looking going into the offseason a year-plus after his surgery to know whether or not they need to plan for another direction.
    • I forgot to mention my thoughts on the rushing grade! 😮 He ran his ass off both weeks. I can't remember the stat offhand but didn't he have something crazy like 120+ yards after contact vs. Dallas? Against Miami he had lanes as wide as the entirety of I-95 to run through which is why his rushing grade wasn't as high as this week's. He's ran like a man possessed and going to earn himself some money in the offseason.
    • I'm not sure how much I'm changing mid year, especially when we are seeing some success.    Most Pass Rushers are physically gifted. Scheme and personnel help, but you gotta have the Jimmys and Joes, especially at that position.    We will likely lose games when the other team can throw for 400 yards, and has multiple high level receivers, but I think at this point in the development of our franchise, we have to be ok with that. You can't address every single issue at once. Really looks like we have plugged some holes on offense, and definitely in run defense. In the next draft, if we hit on a CB, an ILB and a Pass rusher, we will be pretty dangerous.
