What do you think about the hate and dissing other NFL fans give to the Panthers team and fans?

This is not a phenomenon I understand very well but I've been noticing all throughout this past season and this offseason. Almost any time I see panthers news on a non panther sight and go to the comments section there is always so much hate and disrespect of the panthers and/or Cam, and/or panther fans. What in the world did we or cam do to piss people off so bad ? They literally refuse to recognize anything the Panthers did last season and you I see comments like this all the time : " Am i the only one who thinks the panthers go 7-9 again this season and prove how much last year was a fluke? I mean a 2 year old would have dived for the ball. " And this is on a post about NFL saying the panthers are #2 NFC team to do well in the playoffs this coming season. 

People are so fixated on the Super Bowl events they can't wrap their heads around the amazing season the panthers had last season, they don't recognize that there are many panther fans that have been fans of the team for quite a long time, and they are just very quick to discount or diss the team for whatever reason. Is this just normal fan of other teams smack talk or is it something way worse than that?

And its beyond idiocy when these smacktalkers teams didn't even make the playoffs or lost in first round of the playoffs and did way worse the than the panthers last season. If the panthers were so bad then how did your team do hmm?

It comes with the territory of winning. I can't think of ANYBODY outside the Patriots fanbase that likes the Pats, same went for the Seahawks when they were on their run, and same goes with any other winning team in sports.

I just lol at Broncos fans bringing up Cam's fumble, when they got a QB that invented the infamous "butt-fumble".

What'd you expect to find?  A bunch of fans of other teams saying "Welp, looks like the Panthers are the greatest and will dominate the NFL for a long time."?   That's not how it works.  The Panthers have been an inconsistent and altogether mediocre franchise for most of our existence.  Lots of fans won't believe we're here to stay until they see it year in and year out for a long time.

If we had actually won the Superbowl, that would have shut a very small number of them up, but the vast majority would still not believe we're gonna be consistent winners.  It's just the nature of the beast in the NFL.  Sure a lot of it has to do with people who will just always hate Cam, but every successful team has at least one player that fans of other teams just love to hate.

You gotta have thick skin if you're gonna read comments on an online article, no matter what the subject is.  But honestly, I wouldn't recommend doing it ever.  That poo makes you a little bit dumber every time you do it.
