lol you're welcome to brand it with whatever label you like, its no skin off my nose. The narrative is shifting and you don't have to look back on this forum more than a page or so to see it.

Here is a reasonable criticism from myself, a fan who doesn't know 99% of what's going on. 3 was as excessive number of CBs and I wish we had Norman another season. I know nothing so I won't take it beyond voicing it and I will move on and trust the Pro since nothing I think affects anything. Past that it's just griping to hear yourself gripe.

The narrative is shifting? 

Ppl did that poo on here with Hurney so I get where you're coming from. DG isn't even in the same galaxy of GMs as Hurney is, and that is an undeniable fact. 

Besides hitting it out of the park in the 1st rounds (with cam and Luke specifically) Hurney did not know how to properly manage a team. And that consists of the bottom of the roster to effectively communicating with scouts. Why is Dave doing so well with the same fuvking scouts as Hurney in later rounds and Hurney did not? How is our cap in better shape with some pretty big contracts on the books with star players? How does Dave know better to spend money on players who actually can earn that money? So you can see why ppl are just like "well damn Dave has built a pretty incredible, well-rounded team. Why the hell is anyone complaining with all this success?" 

And I say it's because they're bored with their lives and need attention.

The entire premise you've laid is the same reflexive response given every other time this discussion comes up.

 

It's "hes criticizing something, he clearly doesn't like Gettleman whom I've sworn myself to."

 

I like DG. I especially like his drafts, outside of a pick or so, each year. Its when the discussion comes up pertaining to that pick (to use an example) that the problems between posters begin and the comparisons to Hurney, who couldn't even perform the most rote responsibilities affiliated with his job, begin.

Sadly I remember still wanting him. . . in the first. I wouldve taken anyone back then though. Matt Moore and his one man fan club The Real Deal were driving us all mad.
