Gettleman didn't speak for 'Skins on Norman, but he said nothing, but said enough.

Uh, no.

You're right, Cookie. Since I have been on the Huddle, I can honestly say that I have seen a Huddle deny South Carolina's existence, but I have heard Huddlers talk of South Carolina like it's North Carolina's ugly little red-haired sister.

Now, honestly, I am a native North Carolinian (only raised here for my first three years), but I really don't have a dog in the fight. I suspect that I got some distant cousins down in a place called Blackstock outside of Rock Hill, and I do enjoy a jaunt to Myrtle Beach on occasion (going there next month). But other than Myrtle Beach, I would say that from top to bottom North Carolina is the superior state. Ironically though, NC does try and emulate it's little sister to the south quite a bit, especially as of late...

I'm glad you feel that way.

Usually, people in NC claim that "NC is the real Carolina" as if SC doesn't exist. LOL!

I'm usually on the I hate SC bandwagon, but I realize it takes some time to get everyone on board.  My issue is that time and time again when SC has the chance to show their support for the Panthers they end up picking against them.  Not everyone, of course, but enough to sway a vote to the Packers/Steelers/Falcons/etc.

The Panthers are based in NC and the majority of that state doesn't even support the Panthers.

I'm dying at that picture of the troll.

SC rules! NC drools!

I don't think the redskins made a bad decision at all.  Yeah they paid him alot of money but they also had cap room to do it.  I think Josh will play well for them, and I hope he does.  We will find out how much he is worth because he will be facing some top notch receivers in the EAST.  If you have the money and not enough key players with a winning mindset infusing someone like Josh Norman is far from a dumb move.  Gettleman had to make a business decision, and he made a smart one.  He is investing in young talent, and not overpaying for guys like Norman.  IMO that money we saved on Norman will be much better spent on guys like Short, and Star.

Not true, while there are a lot of opposing fans here, finding panther fans in SC is like going unicorn hunting.

    • did a great job getting us out of cap hell. also did nothing to make the team better once we had a roster good enough to compete for a super bowl for a hawwwg mawlie enthusiast using first round picks on shaq and vernon butler which were luxury picks while strutting out the likes of nate chandler, byron bell, matt kalil, mike remmers to protect your franchise QB was malpractice. and then of course the norman fiasco and drafting kelvin benjamin over davante adams, jarvis landry and allen robinson and doubling down on devin funchess the next year. for a guy that "came from scouting" it was crazy how he drafted 2 tall unpolished receivers simply because Cam "threw high" I remember him and Rivera thinking Byron Bell would be a better left tackle than right tackle because he was left handed lol
    • Beane took over in 2018 after Josh Allen was drafted. He's drafted 2 Pro Bowlers his entire tenure. James Cook and Dawson Knox The Bills had a generational QB fall into their lap and have wasted his prime much like we did with Cam. Alot of parallels and it's even funnier when they've had so many of our former players and built their front office around our old employees
