First episode was really good.

I have read the comics and didnt know how they could convey the story on television, but the first episode was really great and makes me feel like they are up to the task.  Not taking it exactly as it is on the comics but definitely getting across the essence of the story.  I enjoyed it.

I was trying to explain what type of show it was to my wife who never read the comics or anything.  The best I could come up with was "It is like if The Walking Dead and True Blood had a child it would be this show"

I also thought the casting of Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy were spot on

Kudos on the True Blood mention. Was trying to think of what Preacher was reminding me of while watching, and there are definite True Blood vibes.

Hopefully Preacher doesn't turn to total poo like True Blood, though.

I still havent watched the final season of True Blood, but I heard it was poo.  Was a good show for a while though.

Don't waste your time.  True Blood had like 1-2 good seasons and I'm not sure I kept wasting my time on it, probably because of Jessica.

Anyway, Outcast is a good show too coming on Cinemax (at least the pilot was).  Officially not out till June 3rd but it's OUT THERE.   It's also filmed in Rock Hill, so that's cool.

    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so in the mind of a rational
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
    • So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?
