he beat his woman...he sits! this is the beginning of the end for him in the NFL.  i stood by screen name until ray rice KOd his woman in the vator.  then i had to turn my back.  no solitary man can bring heat to the program and expect to survive.

'cept that it's beginning to look a whole lot like he didn't actually beat his woman.

The Hardy defenders in this thread make me sick. You guys are idiots. Hardy beat the crap out of her, period. This situation isn't even close to the same thing- assuming Zeke has the texts.

No he's not going to come back to Carolina, and you shouldn't want him to.

Those bruise patterns resemble someone in the driver seat of a car going off on their steering wheel. The neck abrasions are clearly from a seat belt. The object used to make most of those bruising patterns is 2 inches wide, and due to the areas of impact and length of marks they do not appear to be defensive.

Also, many people fail to understand that a bench trial conviction and appeal actually are logistical cost saving measures in NC, and the lack of meaning/weight they hold in the judicial system.

Not rushing to judgment on this one. People are coming out of the woodwork saying that he didn't do it, and that she actually got in a fight with another girl. Plus, they've apparently found some texts from her after he broke up with her threatening to do something like this.

Not giving him a free pass, but also not going to jump to conclusions and start throwing things like "monster" around.

Exactly people where just assuming that she claimed he hit her "so golly gee he must've done it" I waited to pass judgement but everything I've seen over the last few days just looks like it's a spiteful ploy to get revenge from getting bumped before the millions came.

If and when they find this not to be true, he should go after everything she has.

Idiot, dumbass, moron, et al, are all words used by self proclaimed intellectuals here that supposedly degrade those that use facts, not the Michelle Beadle's of the world, to form opinions.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
