This is a good problem to have.

And is Dickson really that safe? I haven't heard anything about him this camp. Is it possible they cut Dickson, Keep simmonson and either Beau or Deaver?

He has made some really nice plays with the 1's. No one I have talked to thinks he is going anywhere.

Dickson is having a really nice camp thus far, from what I've seen.  Made some really nice catches.  You don't hear a whole lot about the established guys in camp reports.  Kind of how we haven't really heard much about Olsen, Kalil, TD, etc.  Most of the focus is on the new/bubble guys.

And they really won't have to sneak. Deaver is a UDFA and Sandland was a pick away from being one.

We're talking about Getty. Dave Gettleman! He is not cutting Sandland in order to keep Ed friggin Dickson.

do you think Deaver is actually doing slightly better than Sandland? i mean if Deaver is on totally equal footing with a draft pick and we have to think a healthy draft pick gets maybe at least one extra point in their favor, doesn't that have to mean Deaver is doing something a little bit better? or is Sandland's status as like the 2nd to last pick of the entire draft making him basically a UDFA in the front office's mind?

Won't have to sneak, huh? I'm sure more than a few FO's have a roving eye, if one not just affixed to what we're doing. Belichick is omnipresent.

I haven't been there every day, like Jeremy, but when I have been there, Deaver has been equally as good as Sandland.  They have both impressed me.  

Simonson is a damn good pass catcher.  I picked that up very early last season.  His blocking then wasn't too good though.  This year, he's picked it up quite a bit.  You really can't help but notice him.

It is doubtful that teams will be coveting the next to last pick in the draft and a UDFA enough to cut one of their own players.

I'll reserve saying "we have too many good, young prospects!" until I see them perform like great players on the field.

 

We've had the same "conundrum" at WR during TC the last few years until we get to the season to realize all we had was a bunch of 4's competing for the 5th spot.

 

Until one of them separates himself during a game, you have to go with the one with the most upside and not Charly Martin the rest.
