Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula said  he will monitor Cam Newton's carries as he always does.

 

He doesn't want the NFL MVP carrying 11 times a game as he did against Denver. He would feel more comfortable in the 7-8 range.

I feel better about our offense than last year...

Sadly I feel the same about our OC as I always have. Down 1 with a minute left and I have to worry about us running the ball...

None of his head shots came from plays like that.

So we tried our hardest ever and could only score 3 points in the 2nd half. Great!

As I understand it, Shula sends in a package of plays and Cam chooses what to do based on the defensive look he sees, right?  So when the play goes well, credit goes to Cam for his execution.  When it does not, it's Shula's shitty playcalling, huh?

Just want to make sure things haven't changed around here too much with the new format.
