That's the point, we all learn from taking our lumps. He's becoming the model QB off the field that everyone seemed to want and he's still an absolute competitive animal on it.

Meh. Cam sounds defeated as hell. He needs to worry about his long term health, and his retirement. If they keep teeing off on him, he'll end up just like those dudes on concussion that suffered from CTE.

That's the scary thing.  As someone who has no ambition at pro-sports (sorry, I realized I "wasn't going to go pro" a long time ago!), I have a very different perspective on my long term health.  I'm going to conjecture the heck out of this point...be prepared for some major BS!

Pro Athletes are wired differently.  Guys like Cam are going to make all the money in the world several times over.  That's not the issue.  Their egos drive them to be the best, to win the championships, to leave a lasting legacy that people will talk about for ages (Jordan).  So while us average Joe's worry about what's going to happen when we're 80, people like Cam don't.  They only care about winning at all costs.  if it punishes them later in life, so what.  People won't remember their final years before they die near as much as they will celebrate their achievements on the field.

Possibly total BS-psycho babble.  Cam's a dad, a son, a friend, a brother, a human like many of us here.  I'd like to think that he is looking out for his long term health because without it, what do you have?
