NFL to discuss giving roughing precedent over grounding

I love how our game has caused all of these rule evaluations. like "oh all this BS happened against the panthers, let's apologize and fix it for other teams moving forward".

I have a feeling we will start to see Cam get more of these calls moving forward. The narrative has been universal that he was targeted and the league has egg on its face. It was no coincidence the 100 million to concussion research was announced this week.

Penalties shouldn't offset if one is worse than the other. Just do math and spot the ball the difference of the infractions.

Yeah a 25 yard pass interference (at the 1 yard line) offset with a holding call in the Steelers/Redskins game. it seems stupid.

I can't believe this even has to be discussed. Can you imagine what society would be like if the legal system allowed illegal activities to cancel each other out? How fugged up is that?

"Well officer, he was speeding when he cut me off on the highway so I followed him home and killed his dog. Its ok though because they cancel each other out."

Yeah, and the personal fouls two strike and you're out rule should be for physical personal fouls like roughing the passer or late hits or hits out of bounds, not, for instance, jumping up and down after a touchdown.

The fact that Trai Turner was the closest one to being ejected in the Bronco game is an absolute farce.

They should just make a over celebration not a PF.

Pass interference being a spot foul is also ridiculous.

Not as ridiculous as not having it a spot foul like in college. in college, if a player is beat on a long pass, they just pull them down. The NFL stopped that type of play and I am glad for it. It gives you much more exciting plays down the field.
