So after 2 weeks we are leading the NFL in PPG...will we lead the league again?

That would be awesome 2 years in a row.  Barring any injuries I think we will lead the league again and maybe even put up more points than last year with Benjamin playing so strong.  We haven't seen the best out of this team yet.

Honestly, it's likely. Not just because of what I've seen out of our offense, but based on what I've seen out of our defense we're likely to be involved in some shootouts this year.

Yeah I'm a little concerned with the defense, but I think once the secondary gels a little bit better we'll be ok on that front.

Defense took awhile to get going last year too. I know Luke being out had alot to do with that but I think we're forgetting that even when he came back we had some really bad games defensively especially in the 4th quarter

I see the defense rounding into shape about half way through the year. In the mean time they're creating enough turnovers to give our offense the chance to win it for us.

Our offense gave them more points than our defense. They only had 302 total offense.  And 1/4 of that total came one play.

We need to tighten up the defense or as Ron likes to say.  We have to correct a few things.

I made some preseason bets based on these two facts and the third that our star QB has a history of injury issues and I didn't see anyone taking up the slack when he went down.

I was surprised with how well Fozzy did when he had to step up.

I second this. I think our defense will become pretty stingy sometime around week 8-10
