Min-Car Prediction Thread

Panthers cement themselves as "the" contender in the NFC. 38-10. Cam throws for 4, runs for 1. Vikings score on guess what? A blocked punt returned for TD. Bradberry hold Diggs to 45 yards on 4 catches, 1 first down. Hold them to 60 rushing yards, with a fumble recovery and two picks on Bradford. Vikes go home realizing they're not quite there yet. 3 of Cam's TDs come off of the 3 turnovers. The blocked punt is our only giveaway.

The Vikings have one of the better defenses in the league and an awesome WR in Diggs but I just don't see them moving the ball well against our defense.  Their OL can't seem to run block effectively (at all)

I think our D starts to gel a bit more and we win decisively 28-13.

I think Kony will awaken this game.  2 sacks.

Cam has 3-4 TDs

I predict Minny won't block several punts and return them for TDs

given that, a football game is played.  Carolina holds a small lead at half.  Then we do what we do....and that is put pts on people.

I think Minny scores a decent amount though.  Secondary issues will take time and a season to fix.  We will get better as the season goes along and they gain experience

Pray tell what these "Secondary issues" could be? And who are "They" who need experience? Cuz, I have not seen much to be worried over so far. I mean, we don't have any All-Pros, well maybe Coleman, but we are doing what we do. Keep the play in front of you.

Bradberry is the only DB without experience. And he is doing well enough he had the most plays last week. We may have hit pay dirt with this kid. Worley rarely sees the field, but had himself a good game last week.

You may be seeing ghosts where none exist. But at this point in time, we are playing well back there. Or well, in regards to the actual talent level. But that's a debate for another post. I will stick to the point, and won't go all tangenty on you.

i predict we use the screen game to counter a furious vikings pass rush and fozzy goes ham and collects 200  all purpose yards on the day

Bold prediction there my Huddle friend. The one flaw I see, is that the Dline isn't asked to pin their ears back. They want the QB in the pocket, and to do so, they run a controlled, disciplined, collapse the pocket type rush. If they HAVE to, they will blitz.

I was saying that about the rush, to point out how the screen may not work so well against them. They will still come after you, but the methodical way they do rush, does not open itself up to screens. Now if they blitz? All bets are off. Cam loves him some blitz.

We HAVE to run the ball. No matter what. Slow that already methodical rush down even more. They are tough, but their scheme, which works on statues, kinda goes with what we want to do. If we can out physical that line. We good.

We do what we always do. If we limit the penalties, and those pesky TOs, we should be just fine.

They will have a tough time stopping us often enough to stay in the game. Cap will have a fine day, both running, and receiving. Fozzy will chip in a few good plays as well. With the success of those two, our Offense is just too good. We score the first three times we touch the ball, on the way to a 21-3 halftime lead.

Cam finishes with four TDs, with two of them coming on the ground. KB, and Olsen both flirt with 100 yds. Ginn Jr. has a long TD. The Vikes score during garbage time to make the final score 41-10.

Folks from Bristol, to LA, will be slobbering over KB. As they should. Teams will not be looking forward to playing at The Bank. As they should. And Cam, and Ron, are back on top the "Who do you like better" lists. As they should

Or as we call it here in Panther Land. Just another game.

Why are so many folks afraid of the Vikes? Nice to see a fellow Huddler not afraid to tell it like it should be.

Special teams crew from 2014 was soo poor smh players like Thomas Decloud.. Thank god for growth..

Unfortunately, there are not nearly enough Huddlerz that would agree with you. Cuz, this is spot on. The bottom of this roster is a deep as any team I can remember.
