You can't make blanket statements about a DE or OT if one isn't there to pick. What is ogbah doing right now? Where is this mystery OT that would have beat out Oher/Remmers, if he was there i'm sure gettleman would have looked into picking him. Vernon made perfect sense, KK is a free agent next year and he reportedly was at the top of the panther's draft board.

At 30 I just didn't see us taking a DT or probably in the first three rounds if at all being honest. Our tackles are plug and play guys, as mentioned ifedi would have been a nice pick, and ogbah looks good, he is contributing without the big numbers! I just didn't get the pick, no way we let kk go for nothing, I believe the Norman decision has a little bit off kk in mind regards the contract dealings and keeping star longtime is anyone's guess? I just don't think we needed a DT.

Christ we didn't need a WR but I'd of picked Sheppard over a DT even at 30, just don't think the value at 30 was a DT.

I agree DT was a shock i thought Hunter Henry or Derick Henry was going to be the pick

With Stew's injury history, our lack of depth behind him, and the way we run the ball, I thought FOR SURE we were drafting Derick Henry and was ecstatic. Dude is a freak and would have spelled Cam from all these QB sneaks we have to give him because our RB's are incapable of picking up hard 2 yards.

should have been Derick Henry, we also should have taken a different corner in the second and saved our 4th. Bradberry would have been there when we had our 3rd. then obviously should have drafted two different players in the 4th and 5th.

First round OTs used to be viewed as one of the safest picks you could make, but it seems like in recent years there have been a ton of 1st round OT busts.

Trainers often cast up high ankle sprains to aid the healing. Not sure if that's the case with Butler. Hope to have an update.

As we know about high ankle sprains, they’re almost always multi-week injuries. So Vernon will likely be out a while.
