Maybe, just maybe we should try some short and intermediate routes to loosen things up when Cam doesn't have time for downfield routes to develop?

I want them to address the issue with us hiking the ball when the play clock is about out. How does this keep happening?

Maybe our WRs can borrow JRs cart and the long developing routes won't be so long?....come on Shula make the call

I agree for sure but just saying that DB contact is allowed within 5 yards and their corners were pressing the sh*t out of our guys within 5, so even the short routes would take longer than you think they would. Or they wouldn't be there. That's why Funch struggled so much. He needs quite a bit of work on his technique off the line. KB theoretically should've been able to handle the pressing but Waynes played an amazing game. Pretty much shut him down completely. Not so sure that short routes would've helped that much yesterday. I agree Shula needs to add them to our offense as they are crucial at times and maybe they'd have made a difference, but there were more than a few coverage sacks. On the safety Cam had time and the WR's routes developed, they just didn't get separation.
