Cam Newton Request Trade - Cleveland Offers 3 First Round Picks

So Cam trashed a mansion, got a DUI and now wants to be traded.  I fully expect him to start selling crack to kids.

hey guys gettleman here, just wanted to let you know this is all true

when i'm not busy being arrogant and making sure this team loses i'm putting in extra work making sure cam hates playing here.  don't worry though, i'm not going to trade him.  i'll just let him get more and more disgruntled (shula is very important for this component) so his performance will suffer until he eventually leaves as a FA in a few years.  then he'll sign up with a better franchise for cheap (if only i wasn't such an arrogant dummy maybe i could make a shrewd move like that!) and light the league on fire again.

bup bup bup.  oh i almost forgot, the reason i do this is because salty internet tears from football fans grant me eternal youth.  i'm actually 23 years old.  anyway l8r.

I'd take a flier on him assuming it wouldn't count towards the cap. but this is purely hypothetical and neither team would go for it.

Actually not a bad plan. Carolina would fall to 2-14 for the season, get the 1st and 2nd pick in the draft to get a new starting LT and DE, then can claim Cam off waivers when he gets cut in Cleveland because he doesn't fit into their new OC scheme. And who is the new OC? That's right, Mike Shula. It's all becoming clear to me now. It's too early to drink a 5th of Gentleman Jack.
