Gettleman and Rivera both will and should keep their jobs after this season. The success they have shared outweighs all the bad right now. That being said, this start should be a huge wake up call for both. Be very interested to see how both respond. No sugar coating this season anymore. Just have to right the ship. On them to do it.

This is a save money team this year, not a contend team

Our backup QB threw game ending picks in back to back games.

Kind of a bummer, but not entirely unexpected.

Yup, he's back to "i take this poo seriously" DA.  But, even as bad as he was, i dont put it on him.  The playcalls were awful, but the Bucs did everything they could to lose.  They didnt even want to pass against our horrible secondary, and we still lost because our all-world front seven made jacquizz rodgers look like warrick dunn.

Short lost himself a lot of money this year.

He sure did. Sometimes when you bet on yourself it works (Josh Norman). Sometimes it doesn't (KK Short).

I watched KK pretty closely on critical downs and he just stands there getting pushed back like a sack of potatoes.. no moves or nothing.. the dude is str8 mailing it in.

You are serious arent you? There are a lot of qbs better than Cam that havent won a Super Bowl.

Cam will be great again once he recovers from all of the head shots he's taken this year. Yes he will become that. Don't start any bullshit.

Can't blame this loss on GMan. Its coaching. 100%

Do you blame coaching for the secondary, Ealy, Remmers, OL depth, RB depth, Funchess, DL depth, Klein, and Teddy Williams?

This team has to lean on its foundation set up in 2011/2012 to win games. Nothing has been done over 4 offseasons to build around that core. 4 years!

We may never have back to back winning seasons.

back 2 back winning seasons is a little over blown, we've won 3 straight NFCS championships till this year, and IMO thats more important, you can have a winning season and still miss the playoffs but youre in if you win your division

    • yeah, now it's going to get awkward.  The team circles pay attention to all this stuff.  All the wives and girlfriends see the posts.  They all talk like everyone.  Football is just a normal world outside of the fact they play a game for lots of money.  Gossip travels. They know the Theilen's want out at this point.  Carolina is now the disappointed failed trade location.    So now AT takes sort of an inhouse hit in Carolina IMO
    • Ummm... The dude looked like he was about 180 pounds soaking wet with us (I don't care what his listed weight was/is) - he would have been destroyed in the run game even more than our current and past crappy ILBs. The problem is we primarily play 3-4 or nickel/dime - there is little room on the field for him because he isnt an edge LB blitzer and he can't cover for crap. The only thing he can do kind of well is be an in-the-box safety that can try and beat blockers to the spot because of his athleticism. Washington was able to make him work last year because they used him solely as an in-the-box safety and almost exclusively ran a single high FS. The funny thing is they had good yards/game stats against the pass despite most of their secondary having embarrassingly low PFF grades. Washington was also terrible against the run, which might explain why they gave up so few yards passing.
    • Just get the deal done. We've teased it so much that the Thielen's expect it. Now we run the risk of our veteran WR locker room presence becoming disgruntled. Just take what we can get, make him happy, and get future assets while freeing up snaps for guys who will be here beyond this season.
