The idiots from MNF are upset at this Cam picture

And he remains the same through it all. Cam is going to leave the very first chance he gets and not one person should be mad.

Yep. I'm actually impressed Cam hasn't exploded yet. Between the constant media bashing, constant lack of appreciation from the city, and constant lack of defending from his team, coaching, and F/O, there is only so much a player can take.

I think he has learned how to block this stuff out because he's been dealing with this since UF and I credit that to Team Cam. That may be the only reason he hasn't gone off yet. But I do think they day will come and it will be epic. I think he's more of s professional than people give him credit for.

Okay, not so bad then but Cam still needs to be more aware. He likes to draw attention to himself and this is what happens

cam does not like to draw attention to himself off field..this is silly the man can't even live his life..you would think he was the president or something..how many times have you seen Tom Brady bungee jump..and let's not talk about gronk..he is not in a high speed chase..this is crazy

Tbh, i have just always felt that from a faction of fans, the nfl, the officials, and from 99% of media, Cam has been treated the way he has simply because he was black AND loud.  If he was a servile, quiet, fake humble cornball like RG3, then they would have left him alone and probably propped him up.

But, he's big, fast, strong, and loud in his actions, dances, and style...  and the white powers that be cant take a lot of that.  It's too black.  And so, from Nawrocki's atrocity of a scouting report pre-draft, to the nfl not protecting him, to mothers writing letters to their local media demanding he stop dancing, to the nfl allowing him to play his game until he reached the biggest one and pull the chair out from under him and the team and then forcing him to do a postgame presser in view and ear shot of a winning opponent bragging about shutting him down...  and then this year, with the officials allowing him to be beaten down and head hunted, and now the criticism of him riding a fuging segway...  it, to me, just all looks like a giant controlled attempt by those in charge to humble him.  All thats missing is Goodell publicly stating, "yer gonna learn yer place boy."

And this is where i get so frustrated with the team...  no one is defending him.  I just hope turn things around quickly.  A lot of this crap is just side effects of losing.  People have to find someone or something to blame, but as i mentioned with numerous examples above, certain peolle have been WAITING for Cam to falter so they could blame him.

Why will defend him..the people that probably would have have left town ..TD not going to turn on his beloved richardson...Olsen has always so there's nothing new..only voice I could think would even matter would be Luke..but he is too nice...They want to break Cam. Like posted put him in his place...NFL  is majority black except for QBs.Cam came to takeover the masters whip..stupid black players are just yes sir yes sir..throw me a bone and I take care of it some of these black players brains too small to see the big picture what is really being done to CAM and they are helping to do it...It's the same out in real world..just using blacks as a pon..Too stupid to even realize it .

Holy poo guys.. way to completely take this out of context and turn it racial in a flash. Has nothing to do with who he is as a person, or what team he plays for.

They were stating that riding the Segway without a helmet was a little reckless, since anything could happen - car out of nowhere, jogger bumps into him, whatever... might cause him to take a spill. Regardless of his ability to drive the damn thing, there's things out of his control that could happen. If he falls, and hits his head again, this could prolong the concussion protocol, and seriously screw up his noggin in the long term. That was the gist I got from their initial comments.

Now, if they went further than that, it was after I had to go back to work, and didn't see it. So, please fill in any gaps I didn't see, but the first take on it wasn't wrong to criticize a little. It's a tad bit dangerous with a concussion to do this without a helmet. Nothing more, nothing less. If he'd had a helmet on, I doubt in the least if this is more than a 10 second blurb showing him getting around after seeing the doctors.

I, for one, am impressed with Cam and how he's handled himself both on and off the field.

Okay, maybe not on the field this season per se, because that's been a lot of poo... but go with the overall concept.

On the field: he is a magnet of hope. He's learned how to lead the team on the sidelines - being the first on the field to congratulate a big play, going up and down the line and saying encouraging words to the team. Giving out game balls, signing every last autograph, etc.  Standing for the National Anthem. When he started, everyone gave him crap about how he always wears a towel on his head after he takes off his helmet. Today, we'd wonder why he's NOT doing that.

Off the field, we don't hear anything about him. He's openly admitted his worst vices are video games and breakfast cereal. He doesn't drink, he doesn't go out clubbing like other big Football celebs we read about in the papers. He isn't shy about riding a segway downtown in a city that has embraced him. Sure there's a video from a couple of weeks ago at a strip club (in Atlanta?), but it's not like he makes a habit of that.

What I'm trying to say is that we and the Panthers could do a whole lot worse vs what we see some players from other teams do. Cam's got a good head on his shoulders. And right now, he's probably internalizing and self-shouldering a lot of blame for how those 3 games went - he doesn't need us or MNF dogpiling on him... especially if he's done nothing wrong.

If the worse MNF has is Cam riding down a street for whatever justifiable reason? I'll take it.

Who wouldn't want to go to the tity bar from time to time if you're making that much money?

I have a new take away from it. Concussions often cause balance problems. Doesn't a Segway work by shifting your weight and balancing? If so then maybe he's close to being out of the protocol!

Well, he did do "Football" stuff today. Whatever that means. So yeah, he is close. How close? Only the doctors know for sure.
