It's not going to happen in season if it happens at all.

Nobody's getting fired five games after a Super Bowl appearance.

This season would have to be a complete disaster like 1-15 and the coaches losing the locker room before any changes would be made.

As long as he is here we will not win much. Teams have figured him out and he cannot adjust. Sigh oh well Tar Heel basketball comes on soon at least I know that team wants to win.

Gettleman goes way back with the Shanahan family and Kyle is a hot property right now.

Working against that though, Kyle runs a West Coast attack that wouldn't suit Newton.

Anthony Lynn has gotten some attention before and may again if the Jets finish strong.

We have to do a better job more so than anything else. We have a great group of guys, we're confident and we've been here before.

If the team cannot see Shula is a problem then I stop watching sadly.

Only way it happens, besides Rivera getting fired himself, is if Gettleman forces his hand.  Situations like that, rarely ever end well.  You about have to get rid of the HC, if he doesn't make the move on his own.
