It is a real shame and a complete joke that Jerry and the franchise turned their back on the family. I guess since it doesn't benefit the shield than it is not worth it. Great on Colorado University and Rae's ex coach for stepping up. Have all the respect in the world for that school.

These were my first thoughts as well. Look, as bad as what Rae did was...it's over.  He's paid/paying some sort of penalty for it.  I'd like to think that he was truly remorseful and could be there for his son. 

Still I don't know that I'd be able to do what she is doing.

What an awful story. Jerry Richardson and the Panthers organization should be ashamed for not helping. I understand distancing themselves from Rae forever, but what did the boy do wrong? Now l don't feel so bad about this organization being 1-5 for some reason.

Wow, just read that from another source.  Thats about 15 miles from me.  Some of my friends work at that prison work farm.
