I think the consensus so far is that Bradberry has been the one bright spot in this Draft class.

Let us not forget Butler in all this. He was coming along nicely before he too was injured. So that should read, two bright spots in this draft class.

Yeah, the first two picks are the ones you need to hit on to have a solid draft and both of ours got injured early.  I guess that's gettleman's fault too. These people kill me

Oh, I didn't forget him.  Hard to judge him though with the lack of PT behind Short and Star.

I wouldn't pay $1,000 for this hat but kudos to the person that did.

If he starts checking off what I want to see from a CB, then I will credit him for that.

- Drive on the ball

- Challenge the ball with physical play

- communicate effectively pre snap and off the line with the safety

- Do not consistently bite on double moves

- Attack the flats at the release of the ball against the screen pass

- give up the body to make a tackle/play on the ball

- pursue and attack the ball carrier (do not jog over and watch other defenders give up their body to make the tackle)

- react immediately to the ball being thrown instead of hesitating and being run out of the play by a WR after the ball is thrown to another receiver

There are a few points I am still waiting for him to demonstrate he can accomplish at the pro level. I will gladly give him credit when he accomplishes these tasks consistently in a game. Until then, I recommend he study Josh Norman 2015 and Ronnie Lott for ideas on how to actually play DB in the NFL.

This garbage he continues with from his college play needs to stop. He needs to stop playing scared.

He has the physical DB play of Deion Sanders with average cover skills.

The Panthers have always had some physically imposing play from their CBs, but this year they are all soft and being dominated physically.
