Didn't we show a lot of interest in Cooks leading up to the draft? Like not just forum talk, but real interest?

With that said, I doubt N.O. would be willing to deal him to us. Same division trades are pretty rare.

Would love to trade for Cooks...but, the price would be too high for the Saints to give him to us.

 

But like was said above, if the QB doesn't have time to throw, or even if we're not going to run quick routes? No use to grab him.

Hue Jackson and/or Chip Kelly may not even be around in 2017.  Obviously having both players has helped both teams SO much this year.  

Those teams have no choice but to think medium/long term they're so bad.

I'd be leery of signing Jackson.  If I signed him, it'd have to be a creative contract structure that reflected the injury risk. The guy is a constant fixture on the injury report.
