Only 42 years old. Cause of death currently unknown. Body was found in a park.

Salaam was draft eligible in the first year of the Panthers existence and was a popular option among Panther fans of the time. Used to ponder how it would have been different had he been one of our first round picks.

It would have been about the same as biakabutuka. Salaam did not have a great NFL career either and was derailed by injuries also I believe.

Salaam wasn't represented by the Poston brothers though.

I've always believed holding out of training camp really screwed Biakabutuka.

I believe it was injuries.
