Only a fool would blame any one single person or thing for the way the season has turned out.

You are always such a good poster but I do disagree this time

yes injuries played a part but the signs of this team's fall were very apparent starting with the Atlanta game in 2015 and the Super Bowl in 2016 and the first game of the season just cemented it.   They had been exposed.

The offensive side of the ball has been ignored  for years and it shows.  The Dline issues were there, add to it unnecessary subtraction in the defensive backfield and luxury picks at linebacker in the 2015 draft and a DT in 2016,, and here we are.

this falls on Gettleman, he is in charge of the personnel and the coaching staff.  He is not seeing the reality of the product before it gets put on the field.

If I were the owner, he would have been in my office after that Monday night beat down explaining why my team became a hot mess and why he should  not be fired on the spot.

in the NFL, it seems to me, teams to stay relevant, need to reinvent themselves in both players and scheme to stay relevant yearly.    The Panthers never seem to get this, the 'we are who we are' and 'we do what we do' and 'the answer is on the roster' is a pathetic bunch of pablum spewed by a team that misses opportunities for sustained success but never misses an opportunity to be a laughing stock.

Their falls are not just to average, the falls are spectacular

Look, DG tried to slip by. (we all do it at our jobs) He knows, we know,  2017 was always the year to get this locomotive going. 2015 was a freak year, 2016 is, well hell after last year idk what you call this season.

Almost anything and everything that could go wrong, did.

Don't agree at all, but to each his own.  It is never, ever, any one thing when it comes to winning and losing in sports.

Do you nimrods really know what ruined a 15-1 team ?

The loss of that teams starting fuging former Super Bowl champion Left Tackle

To me lack of evolution destroyed the team. Which falls on Shula then Rivera. When Bronco players say "we knew what they were going to do." That tells you all you need to know. The Panthers, top to bottom...thought they could do the same thing, again.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Do yourself a favor and research stuff you know nothing about before you show your ignorance.

All of those ESPN shows are scripted crap.

I hate to besmirch your boyfriend, but real journalists don't do beef jerky commercials.

An elite QB without a LT is like an elite WR without a QB do you guys really not get that it only takes one out of eleven guys to fug up for the offense to look like a train wreck ? and that one position that fugs up a lot happens to be LEFT TACKLE lol wonder why we suck

And who controls the draft?  Who evaluates personnel?  LT should have been addressed before Gross left not years after and no Oher is not and has never been the answer in Carolina
