Last two opponents for 2017 now officially set

Last place in the NFC South is locked up (sigh) so now we know for sure that next season, we'll host the Eagles... and unfortunately, return to Levi's Stadium. The 49ers shouldn't be anything to worry about, but the haunting memories in that stadium are thoughts we could do without. At least that game will be a great opportunity for our surprisingly strong California fanbase to show up in large numbers.

Seeing a blowout in their home stadium (49ers) will quickly erase all those awful memories.

Seeing Kaep's face snuffed in his turf will be ever so sweet.

Only one trip west of the Mississippi to the lowly 9ers, the overload of cap space, 4 high picks in the first 3 rounds, an extra 1-2 months of rest, renewed motivation= bad news for the other 31.

Would be  excited about 17 if I had confidence in our coaching staff and GM, this season has been a wake up call in a lot of ways. If moves aren't made to improve the coaching on this team it won't matter who we play, where we play them or who we draft.

I'm gonna have to think long and hard about this one.  Seeing the Eagles in Charlotte would be cool, too, but this might be the easiest one to swing.

As great as that will be, that won't nearly make up for what happened back in February. :(

This has been evident for a while now... I'd rather see them in the playoffs, anyway.
