Ok, so with the BPA theory... Show me your Panthers draft big board (or, in my initial post, the top 30 prospects)

Everybody keeps saying Adams and Hooker will be off the board by the time we pick. Can you guys just shut the fug up??? Seriously. Adams went from being a Top 25 pick to a Top 5 pick in a matter of seconds, and apparently so did Hooker. The teams above us need QBs, WRs, RBs, DBs and DL too. They don't all need safeties.

Relax.

Garrett, Allen, Trubinsky, Foster, Tabor, M.Williams, and Kizer are all slated to go before him.

Don't forget the Josh Allen kid from Wyoming too.  I've seen him play multiple times and he DOES have the raw tools that a QB needy team above us would crave, if he decides to declare.  He was coached at Wyoming by the same coach Wentz had at NDSU and could rise like Wentz.  Would be great.

I personally think Howard and Njoku could be better than Henry in the NFL. It all depends on the system and the fit that they end up in, like you said with Henry in SD w/ Rivers.

If either of Howard or Njoku are somehow miraculously sitting there at 42, we best take him.  Imagine a Fournette/Njoku combo for Cam. We might not have an OT, but 2 huge weapons if we decide to go offense B2B.

That being said, I think both are off the board by the end of R1

Ugh, just looked at a new mock for Walterfootball and damn it if Solomon Thomas and Taco Charlton haven't lept into the mid to late 20s of the 1st. Walker still there in the 2nd so maybe the TEs will be available.

Sent from my iPhone using CarolinaHuddle

Walker and Howard available at our pick there in the 2nd.

Would love either one in the 2nd with Fournette in the 1st (that's who he has us taking)

Random tidbit from his new mock... (he has Tim Williams falling to the Chiefs at the end of the 2nd)

  1. chiefsb_logo.gif Kansas City Chiefs: Tim Williams, DE/OLB, Alabama  Alabama_logo.gif
Here we go. If you noticed Tim Williams missing in the first round, it's because I've decided to drop him to the end of the second frame. We've learned of some glaring off-the-field issues regarding Williams, so if you're searching for a comparison, think Randy Gregory's fall a couple of years ago. However, some team will take a shot on Williams because of his immense talent level, and Andy Reid has given second chances to players before.

"Continued to be turned off" off by Barnett?  His most recent performance was utter domination vs Nebraska.  http://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/2016/12/30/tennessee-vols-barnett-nebraska/96004968/

He was nothing but classy in bowl game press conferences and in his draft announcement.  Wtf?!

Scouts are becoming wary of his measurables and say he doesn't possess the "power" a lot of the premier pass rushers do.  I wouldn't hate the addition at all, but I am starting to like Charlton better

Weird because he moved up to 4 overall on Walter's mock today.

Okay?  I'll make a mock draft and have him going 16th and that carries just as much weight.  Walter is no scout man, he just happens to run the most popular mock on the web.  His mock has just as much of a chance of being right as any mock I draw up myself

PFF has him at 3 overall too.  Some fool might get caught up in measurables (which his are MORE than fine by the way), but others (hint hint) believe football isn't played in underwear.  You simply don't produce the results he did for three years in the SEC at a premium position at only 20 years old and fall to the teens.  No way in #*ll.

Taking in whom, why, what of the Dave drafting. ONE name I keep up with-Barrett

yep count me as of today, in the Barrett train.

Funny how the last few comments are about his stock heating up.

DE value is so much more than either SS or RB. Just facts in the current NFL.

Our coaches either can't evaluate a TE or they really don't want 2 receiving TE's.    Gary Barnage had over a 1000 yards receiving last year and 600 this year.  He is to the Browns what Olsen is to us.  Why did we let him walk and keep Dickson?

More than just TD though...it puts Shaq in no man's land in the future with no real home.  Peppers IMO isn't that much of different player than Shaq.

Shaq future role is beside Luke in Davis' role. That maximizes the Shaq pick.  IMO.

Orrrr just put Shaq at SS where he should be. Or just keep Peppers at SS

Well...our TE coach turned OC did snatch him up in Cleveland when he went there.
