I'm done. He's awful. Completely no trust in his shot and his defense is its usual horrendous self. He needs to be taken out of the rotation. This guy has cost us too many games this year. Should have taken the trade on draft night. Could have Myles turner or booker. Another stellar move by hornets management to set us back a few years.

Well I was hoping he would be at least a solid pick but his shot has went to crap. This organization drafts as well as Stevie Wonder can see. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many misses. What about Bismack over Drummond? What about MKG over Beal or Barnes? What about Zeller over Steven Adams or Giannis Antetokounmpo. The list is even wonder when you look back further. It is all good though because Cho still has a job even though he sucks at making BASKETBALL decisions. Hard being a fan of such a team.

Really, this logic is unbelievable and I see it here so often. Cho has done a pretty good job all things considered. Let me address your points one by one:

Bismack over Drummond isn't the best, but Andre Drummond honestly isn't that good. He can't shoot free throws to the point of him not being able to play in crunch time. He has no heart and disappears all the time when he isn't taking 9 foot half hook shots (which he is terrible at)

MKG is perfectly fine over Beal and Barnes, it was then and it is now. Bradley Beal can't stay on the floor, and is inconsistent when he is. Harrison Barnes vs. MKG is very debatable, but let's get real and not pretend he's some superstar that we missed out on. He's a decent piece, or the best player on a pretty bad team (look at the 2016-17 Dallas Mavericks). Another thing to consider is salary now that these players are on there second contracts. I'd rather have MKG at his current rate than either Beal or Barnes at their current rates.

Zeller is better than Steven Adams and is going to be making a lot less money next year. Obviously in retrospect Giannis is who we should've taken, but it's completely ridiculous that you're using that as a negative on Cho. No one would've drafted Giannis 4, hell even at 15 people were shocked. He was on no one's radar, and you can find international players that people "missed" on every single draft if you want.

Go be a fan of a different team if you feel that way, Cho has done a good job.

Well to each their own I do not go around questioning your fanhood. Will always be a Hornets fan. Just because I dislike the GM who is there FOR NOW does not mean I hate the team. If you think MKG over Barnes or Beal is okay you are not looking at stats my friend (if I can call you that).

Beal

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6580/bradley-beal

Barnes

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6578/harrison-barnes

MKG

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6601/michael-kidd-gilchrist

Something seems off there with those stats they seem as if they are calling you out for bs.

Another here

Steven Adams

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/2991235/steven-adams

Cody Zeller

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/2579258/cody-zeller

Not much of a difference except Adams is a true NBA center with the strength to play the position. He is also only 23 years old with room to grow.

Let us look at your biggest remark in that post. Drummond is no good.

Bismack

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6427/bismack-biyombo

Drummond

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/6585/andre-drummond (PER over 20)

There are plenty of other examples.

just to be accurate - Frank was a MJ pick by all accounts.. not Cho..

MKG, Biz and Zeller on the other hand - were all Cho picks..

Wasn't Kemba also an MJ pick? If so let's hope Frank ends up like Kemba and becomes an all-star caliber player after a couple seasons.

Also MKG, Biz and Zeller are all decent roleplayers. They may not be All-stars and given their draft positions that is unfortunate but it isn't like they were complete busts who washed out of the league. Cho has a better eye for talent than he is given credit for, he consistently hits singles I just wish he would hit a home run now and again.

    • They traded away their 1st next year also to get James Pearce Jr. Really hope this blows up in the Falcons face. I don't care how it happens, I just want to win the division this year. Zero sympathy for other team's issues. And our pass rush looks like it needs all the help it can get.
    • I would have released him this season, tbh and worked with Christensen out there.
    • 10/10. We're due for some good luck, and I think this team is much better than what we've had the last 2 seasons. Defensive injuries could derail us b/c our depth there is still questionable. Still worried about the pass rush getting pressure without blitzing. Pleasantly surprised by the secondary and run defense.  Dan Morgan has done a lot to resurrect this roster from the deplorable position Fitterer left it in by showing some scouting chops with hitting on these guys drafted in the later rounds or UDFAs. Lathan Ransom & Corey Thornton both look like they fit this scheme and the NFL isn't too big for them.  I'm as excited for the rookie trifecta of T-Mac, Scourton, and Princely as I can remember. On paper, this offense is the most talented since 2021, maybe 2017, and maybe 2015. None of that means this team will produce any better, but this team has offensive talent & depth like we have rarely had in team history. If you don't believe me, go Google it. We've had some awful offensive collections overall in many years, to varying degrees mitigated by superstar talents like Steve Smith, Christian Mccaffrey, or Cam Newton.  I honestly think the collective offensive talent in 2025 may be better, but Cam was so otherworldly in 2015 & 2017 that he covered any flaws. Seriously, though, Cam doesnt get enough love for 2017. I think that may have been his best season. In general, Cam doesn't get enough respect IMHO. Both in college and in the NFL, Cam took teams that without him would have had no chance and won. True definition of a guy who elevated his team. To be clear, I am in no way am I saying this team will be better than 2017 or 2015. My point is that the offensive talent is there on offense if Bryce can unlock it.  I've been a Bryce supporter, but there are no excuses not to perform with this group. This isn't the disaster we gave him in 2023 or a new scheme like in 2024 where I think he hadn't mentally removed from his rookie season to start. I dont know how you couldnt be excited about that. And we still compete in a division that isn't insurmountable. I got got in 2023 like most of us in buying into the team propaganda, but in general, I think I'm pretty realistic about the team. I knew in my heart we would be bad last year. I wasnt expecting the defense to be that bad or Bryce to start off that poorly, but I had no expectations whatsoever for making the playoffs. And I genuinely think we will be competitive all year this season. I think we win 8-9 games and compete for the division. I think the ceiling is 11 wins, and the floor is 7. The good news is after next week, we will all be proven right or proven wrong. Keep Pounding!
