SS Calvin Pryor, Jets, '14 #18 overall pick, likely available via trade

The Jets would likely take a day 3 pick.  Was drafted under a previous regime and player and team need a change of scenery.  Two more years on the rookie deal w/the 5th year option.

Add to the MYRIAD of safety options over sitting on hands/simply hoping Adams is there at 8 and therefore handcuffing our draft options.

The Jets are my other team, so getting Calvin Pryor would make me happy on both sides.

Where did you see that he's available??

Pryor has not been the issue in NY... the weak CB play and lack of pass rush from the LBs is more to blame. Combined with a mediocre offense that can't keep the defense off the field, and you have a recipe for disaster.

For the Panthers this offseason? ---  SS is 1a, 1b or 1c for me. I think we need a LT, DE and SS equally as bad. LT seems the most important, but with the least amount of impact options available. SS would be a close second with a pass rushing edge DE right behind that. I go back and forth on these 3 positions, but for me a complimentary young SS beside Coleman would solidify our defense.
