Corey Davis at 8

Mike williams played for a better team and with a better QB.  But talent wise I think Davis is just a bit better.  Being able to make great catches is important, but speed kills, especially in the NFL, and Davis is flat out faster than Williams.  I think we can get a great SS in free agency (there are guys besides Berry), and a great RB later in the draft.  But there are only so many elite WRs in the NFL and we don't have one.  

Character is an important quality for me because most of these guys have talent, but do they have the desire to be great.  Watch the following, I think he does.

I like Davis but trading back and then snagging him around pick 14 would be a better value area to select him!

Yeah I'd rather get him too. If we draft any WRs they should be guys that are known for speed, and Ross is supposed to be the fastest one in the draft.

I'd actually rather get Zay Jones in the 2nd - 4th rounds rather than get Corey Davis or Mike Williams in the 1st .

To cut to the chase, we flat out need receivers who can seperate and be a consistent target for Cam. Davis could be that guy.

I couldnt tell you the last time 2 running backs went in the Top 10 of the draft. one of them will be there at 8. if It's fournette I think we will take a long hard look. but I dont think we would be that interested in Adams, he just doesnt fit our offense that well.

Mike Williams is a better version of KB- how much better? Idk and to me that is not worth the number 8 pick. 

That being said, if we draft him I won't flip out because he's still a baller. I just believe Corey Davis is a better fit for us.

Davis looked like Josh Gordon, but it was against low level competition so it's hard to judge.

If we could get Westbrook in the 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th rounds then that'd be a great pick. He's either the fastest or second fastest receiver in the draft

I'm not saying that he isn't a complete WR. I'm just saying his strongest skills are very similar to KB. Corey Davis is a much different WR. I already stated I will not be upset if Williams is the pick

I don't want us to go for a pacey or a safe receiver or an OT or an RB. I just want us to go for BPA in all the rounds. We have enough cap space to fill the holes everywhere else.

I like the shout of trading down to the latter stages of the 1st round in exchange for another 2nd or most likely 3rd round pick this draft or next.
