In a few hours we could be the Browns of the NFC South.

1 season loll. Try 22. This team has been mediocre since 1995. We never make changes to personnel or adjust anything on the team when we need to until it is too late. All in the name of "continuity" because our owner is afraid to end up like the Browns or Lions or Jags or whatever. And it's pretty funny because we might as well be like them. If this organization doesn't strive to be great, then what's the point of keeping everyone together for as long as possible?

This current team is nothing to complain about.

See me in the Rodney Pete or Clausen years... then we can get negative about football.

It ain't one season it's a quarter of a century of never back to back winning seasons

2013 - Playoffs and NFC South Champs
2014- Playoffs and NFC South Champs
2015 - Playoffs and NFC South Champs
2016 - missed playoffs

Now with the 8th pick and 63M under the cap... I would suggest there is room for optimism.

In 2014 we weren't a good football team. We won the division because league rules said we had to. Then got to the playoffs and struggled to put away a fourth string QB at home. The patriots would never brag about a season like that...because they don't have to

I'll take 3 straight division titles, 3 playoff appearances and 1 Superbowl game over back to back winning seasons any day, and so should you.

Get the fug out of here with this pity party poo. Grow some balls you drama queens. Y'all talk so much poo about us being mediocre but don't realize The Browns, Jaguars, Texans, etc are worse.

Be grateful you dumb pricks. What if Cam has a freak accident like Bridgewater's and Luke calls it quits? I swear, y'all bitches are so whiny.

Suggesting we accept mediocrity is what's wrong with this organization.

Every year after a winning season its the same lame excuses. I would at least respect JR of he went to bat for his players but he can't even do that. Dude quit the NFL because of unfairness yet can't even support Cam when he is getting cracked in the skull. He just slaps another NFL logo on the field and charges psl owners another grand for it.

    • I wouldn't trade Svech for the best FA on the market, Marner included. Matter of fact, someone would be giving up a top line scorer and a couple draft picks for Svech.  Look at it this way, if Svech was a UFA in a couple days, what does his contract look like? That'll tell you everything you need to know.
    • I know it a real homer take but Im not sure Id slam dunk take that list over Smitty.  Smith just played a different way, he had an ability to just take over a game as a matter of will.  The catch against the giants where he caught it and took a helmet that broke his arm mid air, the games against DeAngelo Hall, 05 Bears playoffs, Ice Up Son, the revenge game against us. Those other WRs may have better stat books but love him or hate him, good guy or bad, Smith just played a different game and when he did look out.
    • Absolutely would have to be anther young scorer with either ELC time or a long term contract...    Could see maybe Kyrou or Robertson.... But I really just dont see him being traded you dont trade your leading post season scorer on a long term deal when he isn't even in his prime yet..   not to mention unless you get more than one of those guys at best it would be lateral with unknown team chemistry.
