Mario Williams "almost certain" to be cut

Mario has the curse of Peppers.

The body/athleticism/numbers jump out at you, but when they can't sustain great play, they are looked at as lazy.

Clowney until recently withstood the same criticism.  That said, yes, I would bring him in for a look and an interview.  We do need a DE.  Wouldn't pay him what some other teams may though.

It isn't just that.  Multiple teammates and insiders have said he gave up on the Bills in 2015.

Read that as well, and looked into it.

Rex was doing all kinds of weird stuff with him if I remember correctly.  Not taking up for him, just saying that Pep got that same criticism here, and is still in the league.

Younger than Peppers.  Could have either or both it sounds like.  Yet another team in the Dolphins that overpaid.  Maybe coming home to play for a winner on the cheap would light a fire.  A lot of DE speculation with few answers, but hadn't seen Mario's name added as it should.

Considering Miami made the playoffs and we didn't, he wouldn't be coming to a winner. Maybe better coaching.

I feel like this will be said of Garrett one day.

32 yr old Williams and 37 yr old Peppers.  Doesnt sound like Gettleman to me.

I sense sarcasm... but sarcasm, and the sense of sarcasm, does not translate via the webbz unless you say "(sarcasm)"... or some such thing.

He's a career non-factor but people know hos name so freak out about getting him. Which we won't

He's averaged about 10 sacks per season for his career.  Mind blowing?  No, but certainly not a non factor.

His average sack per game is higher than Freeney, Peppers, etc.

And I agree, probably not coming here.
