*Play the video below while you scroll through you fine people.  Scene: You've just got done with an intense workout, had about thirty minutes in the steam room, and now home anxious for the 3 AM Furry Party.  In the meantime, let's get hyped about football.

Hey you!:

Been a while, I always liked you even though you're kind of quiet and have larger ears.  We get it, you wanted to test a big market or be part of a historic team.  Now on the redemption twilight tour.  Cool beans fellow countryman.

And you!

You're small...but tall in spirit and in our hearts.  He's the Spiderman of the team and the scrappy doo of the players who have worn #41

Annnnd you!:

By the end of the next football saison, this will not be the first Mike Adams that comes up on a Google image search.  We got some old vet named Mike Adams and he's going to play some football for us and do well.

And yoouuuuuuuuu:

I excel at reading tells, for reference I've often been hailed as the Phil Ivey of my generation by a handful of Mexican people I worked with once at the JCPenney distribution centre, and you sir let out an obvious 'evil laugh'. Wether it was a Freudian slip or not is beyond me, but that simple action paired with, "there might be a reason...", my gut says total cynicism, but my brain is smarter than my gut and leads me to believe one thing that is not that but different. You forgot??

White Mike Adams scouting report

positives

- can be easily found on Google images

- looks high, can probably get you weed

negatives

- he's old, 40+

- no prior football/sporting experience

- obvious untrustworthy smirk

Summary

Word from around the facility is that he lives in his car, and is hanging on to the dream that one day someone of notoriety will be Google image searching "Mike Adams" and stumble across his stock photo stills, and "discover" him...in turn, giving him $200 to do a K-Mart fashion catalog photo shoot for the Sunday paper inserts, fulfilling his lifelong dream of moderate local fame amongst the coupon collecting K-Mart shopping crowd that reads the Char-Meck Sunday paper, as well as getting him the money he needs to get his work tools and son's Xbox out of the pawn shop.

White Mike Adams odds of beating out regular coloured Mike Adams and making the team are slim to none, due to him being over 40, slow, injury prone, completely lacking in all respects any football acumen, and has no previous experience playing any sport at any level in any capacity. We'll see if he's hungry enough to overcome those odds and earn a spot on the practise squad.

    • Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy.  Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task?  If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win.  I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!
    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
