And the fans say "No".

he fell hard

He didn't fall hard.  Exit polling had him at over 60% in favor before the national public got wind of it and it ended in a virtual dead heat.  Almost makes me wonder which interest group flooded the polling at the last minute or if they could see where the votes came from.

If true, wow. Just shows you how vindictive people can be.

He can't even get a job in an indoor league.

HE FELL OFF.

He'll play again.  In the Spring League and/or Indoor League.  The cocaine charge has slammed the door closed on the NFL for now but I'm not sure if it's caulked shut yet since he's still only 28.  The arrest video was released and he was very cooperative.  https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2699397-greg-hardy-cocaine-arrest-video-released-by-tmz.amp.html

The powers that be manipulated the vote totals

Whats wild is he fell off not due to a lack of talent, but his incredible lack of judgement.  Perfect example of talent wasted.

I'm 50, and really not sure I've learned from my mistakes. Of course, I never had millions of dollars on the line. Sometimes age is all you can say.

    • Yeah I don't really care. Stupid greed and conference realignment has killed midmajors having a real chance. To me schedule is irrelevant if you win every game in the regular season.  Regardless of level of competition you deserve your spot in the 64 if you finish the regular season with 3 or fewer losses. They're going to get their ass kicked round 1 but I wish more smaller conference teams would refuse to play power 4 competition and muddy the waters a bit. Outside of the opening weekend, bracket buster Saturday was my favorite day of college basketball. If they do expand the tournament I want more 26-4 regular season winning teams and less 17-15 12th place big ten teams in the tournament.
    • We could call him "The Anchor" for years to come
    • Both goals came on bad turnovers- one in the neutral zone, the other behind the net.  The D nor the goalie could have stopped either. Defense did their job, holding them to 16 shots, but transitioning to offense, they just turned the puck over too many times. The top line was MIA and RBA was playing the 4th line more.  It's choke time. The Canes will go .500 down the stretch and will likely fall to a 2 or 3 seed.
