Aaron Hernandez commits suicide in prison

Guy was an absolute psychopath  that deserved to ride the lightning. Alas,  no death penalty in MA. Don't understand all the posts calling him a coward. It takes serious balls to hang yourself. The last 30 seconds are excruciating pain.  Rather considerate of him really. Might be the best thing he ever did.

I would imagine that this is not the purpose of that particular law, but at least it will save money for the 50 odd years he would have been incarcerated had he not killed himself.

prisoners simply put=money and alot of it for everyone involved

Man, I just don't get it. To have all that talent and make it to the NFL and then throw it all away like he did, and now this. Just a fuged up story from start to finish. I guess some people just can't change their ways.

Change is easier said than done man a lot of people want to try to but fail become discouraged and give up and go back to their old ways doing things they know they need to stop doing it sucks but it happens so much it's not even surprising

so apparently he was closeted bisexual and odin lloyd called him a gay slur

I read that Lloyd, who was Hernandez' fiance's sister's husband, knew of his sexuality and that Hernandez murdered Lloyd in fear that Lloyd would tell his fiance about his sexuality. Everything about this whole situation is just fuged up.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
